As part of their partnership with Thankyou, Pattern developed a tailored automation strategy on Klaviyo that fostered timely and relevant communications at all stages of the customer journey.
Using Klaviyo Flows, Pattern developed a series of behaviour triggered automations, such as abandoning a cart, signing up to the database or efforts to re-engage lapsed customers.
Pattern also implemented a suite of ‘non-commercial’ Flows that has created a best in class customer experience and allowed the Thankyou team to minimise customer service enquiries. These include educational product how-to’s or messages to customers about a delayed delivery or upcoming subscription order.
Results & Strategy
CONVERSION DRIVING ABANDON FLOWS
Pattern implemented Abandon Cart, Checkout and Browse Flows for Thankyou, which have driven 50% of automated revenue in the last 12 months. The creative presents the abandoned product, as well as dynamic product recommendations which are personalised to the user.
OPTIMISED POP-UPS
To drive on-site acquisition, Pattern set-up tailored pop-ups to first-time visitors and existing subscribers. The team also AB tested multiple layouts which saw a +64% higher submission rate.
REPLENISHMENT & SUBSCRIPTION FLOWS
Through these Flows, Thankyou have been able to stay front of mind for existing customers and remind them of their subscription offering which provides a 30% saving on all products. The implementation of a subscription Flow has supported a repeat purchase rate of 31%.
POST-PURCHASE PRODUCT EDUCATION
Due to Thankyou’s innovative cleaner, Pattern recommended a post-purchase campaign that educated customers of the various dilution ratios available for their cleaning range. This makes it one of Australia’s most affordable cleaners which customers may not have known at the time of purchase.
