Pattern Named Inc. 5000 Fastest-Growing Company for Third Year in a Row

Salt Lake City, UT – August 12, 2020 – Pattern, the premier partner for global ecommerce, has been named one of the fastest-growing companies by Inc. 5000 for the third consecutive year. Pattern ranked 1,205 on Inc.’s 40th annual ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.

“We are excited to be recognized by Inc. for the third year in a row as one of the fastest-growing companies in the US,” said David Wright, Pattern co-founder and CEO. “As the world of ecommerce grows, we grow with it. We are investing in technology, people, and international expansion to ensure that our partners continue to see tremendous growth through our global ecommerce platform.”

This announcement comes shortly after Pattern announced a $52M Series A investment co-led by Ainge Advisory and KSV Global. This funding story was also covered on TechCrunch and Crunchbase nationally, as well as Utah news outlet KSL.

This recognition joins a growing list of Pattern accolades in the past year:

  • Pattern was ranked Utah’s No. 15 Top Revenue Growth Company from the MountainWest Capital Network.
  • Pattern was No. 9 on Utah Valley 360’s Fastest-Growing Companies list for the 2019 UV50 Awards.
  • Pattern was the No. 2 fastest-growing Utah company in Utah Business magazine’s annual Fast 50 recognition program.
  • Pattern ranked in the Inc. 5000 list of America’s fastest-growing private companies for the past two years, coming in at No. 141 for 2018 and No. 404 for 2019.

Not only have the companies on the 2020 Inc. 5000 been very competitive within their markets, but the list as a whole shows staggering growth compared with prior lists.

“The companies on this year’s Inc. 5000 come from nearly every realm of business,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “From health and software to media and hospitality, the 2020 list proves that no matter the sector, incredible growth is based on the foundations of tenacity and opportunism.”

The 2020 Inc. 5000 achieved an incredible three-year average growth of over 500 percent and a median rate of 165 percent. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue was $209 billion in 2019, accounting for over 1 million jobs over the past three years.
