Our Approach

Pattern took control of the baby brand’s Organic Search strategy, focusing on initial key areas of improvement to drive revenue and traffic to the site. This phase one strategy included an SEO-led content strategy, a technical audit to identify crucial site fixes, and a full refresh of the site’s metadata to ensure optimal keyword targeting.

Following this initial strategy, Pattern moved to the acceleration phase of the brand’s growth, developing initiatives to continue to increase revenue and sessions. Areas that Pattern assisted in improving included optimising the new podcast initiative, site information architecture, and further elevation of the long-term SEO content strategy through content calendars and blog article writing.

Having the building blocks of success for Organic Search in place also allowed Pattern to initiate its Onesearch strategy, complemented by similar levels of growth by the Paid Search channel—which Pattern was also operating. This multi-channel approach ensured that Organic and Paid Search were working seamlessly together to maximise the brand in both channels and reduce competition between them.

After the first full year of working with Pattern, the baby brand experienced +327% revenue and +72% sessions.

With the site performing exceptionally well, Pattern began focusing its Organic Search implementations on bigger brand-building pieces, such as persona development, content outreach, and link building, alongside key technical improvements to page speed.

These brand-building activities have assisted in enhancing both online and offline channels, with the core brand keyword experiencing a +174% increase in monthly search volume since the start of our engagement with the brand.

Notably, Organic Search revenue increased by +289%, sessions by +92%, new users by +79%, and conversion rate by +65%.

Keyword rankings also experienced stellar success, with overall keyword rankings increasing +130%. Page 1 keyword in particular saw consistent gains, up +224% since the start of the engagement. The brand is now ranking for a variety of priority keywords for key product categories.

Overall site page speed has seen positive reductions, with key metrics experiencing major improvements. First Contentful Paint reduced by -70%, Largest Contentful Paint reduced by -62%, and First Input Delay reduced by -98%.
